Project Title
This project will investigate and develop a framework for extended reality (XR) technologies with concerns regarding security, privacy, and data protection. This focus is needed as XR technology requires the collecting, processing, and transferring of (often sensitive) personal data. The appointed researcher will look at balancing innovation with privacy and data protection issues in XR. More specifically, they will identify and develop new ways to understand, analyze, and extend the use of existing or available XR data and data flows in ways that respect privacy and autonomy in emergent metaverse applications.Supervision Team
